Tommy Ray Smallwood

He was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late Roscoe Sherman Smallwood and Zander Jones Smallwood. He retired from Ford Glass Plant. Mr. Smallwood was a mason and a member of Old Hickory Lodge No. 598.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Williams Smallwood; brothers, Paul Meadows and Roscoe Sherman “Bug” Smallwood Jr., and sisters, Louise Jones, Martha Belle Dixon, and Rosenell Strait.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Frizzell and her husband, Murray Lee “Mike”; son, Tim Smallwood and his wife, Deborah Russell; sister, Bonnie Jean Head, and numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with the Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm in the chapel, Pastor Jud Hays officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Montgomery, Bob Bizzell, Austin Russell, Josh Rigsby, Jimmie Dixon, and Murray Lee "Mike" Frizzell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Smallwood to a charity of your choice.
