Virginia L McClellan

Predeceased by parents, Billy Dixon and Mary Crockett Logan, husband of 57 years, George McClellan and daughter Kathy. Brothers Rutledge, Walter, James, Fred, Wayland and Joe Logan.

She is survived by children Kristy, Larry and Joe (Nikki). Grandchildren Katie (Mike) Pace, Kerrie (Will) Stalker, Christopher (Amber), Mathew (Stefanie) and Peter McClellan.

Great grandchildren Marilyn and Olivia Pace, Kendal Crocker, Logan, Landon, Lucas and Evalee McClellan and Everett Stalker. Surviving sisters Marjorie Shelton, Dorothy Sanders, Betty (Joel) Throneberry and Nancy (C.A.) Holman. Brother- in- law, Paul McClellan and sisters-in-law Louise Logan, Ann McClellan and many nieces and nephews.

Virginia was a long time nursing assistant at Baptist and Donelson Hospitals and continued in-home caregiving for family and friends after her retirement. Always busy with her vegetable and flower gardening, she still had time to learn new hobbies like quilting and ceramics.

She was a member of the Hermitage Church of Christ.

A public service is not scheduled at this time due to Covid 19 restrictions, family visitation 11:30 to 1:30 Saturday, August 15th at Hermitage Funeral Home with a private family graveside service to follow. A memorial service will be held in the future to honor Virginia's long life.
