William Donald Bowman, born Sept 1, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away April 21, 2016 in Poplar Bluff, MO . Preceded in death by parents, William Howard Bowman and Cathleen Clabough Bowman, wife, Betty Jane Sowder Bowman, daughter, Patricia Ann Bowman Grooms. Survived by wife, Connie Gowen Bowman, children, Donald Bowman, Linda Marie Bowman (Dan) Myshrall, and Ellen Gowen. grandchildren, Summer Lyn (Melinda) Grooms, Rachel (Hugh) Austin, Lindsey (Tim) Escue, Lauren (Brandin) Powers, Kathleen (Matt) Allen, Matt Keagy, Taylor (Megan) Bowman, Kala Grooms, Leah Bowman, Josh Keagy and Abby Hutchinson; great grandchildren, Sophia, and Lily Austin; Jordan and Madison Escue and appearing soon, Emeri Mae Powers; beloved Yorkie Skipper.

Mr. Bowman resided the last several years in Doniphan, MO, where he was a member of Amity Baptist Church. He served in the US Air Force from November 1951 to August 1965, and was a retired driver for Yellow Freight Company. He loved God, his family his country, UT football and Cardinals baseball.

Gathering of Family & friends Saturday April 30th 11:30 am till time of service at Hermitage Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 1pm in the Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel. There will also be a Memorial Service held at 2 p.m. on May 7th at Amity Baptist Church in Doniphan, Mo.
