William "Greg" Gregory Lund

Greg was born on September 15th, 1965, to Bud and Janice Lund in Nashville TN. Greg graduated from McGavock High School in Donelson, TN. Greg was married to Pat Lund, and they recently celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary.

Greg was an avid fisherman. He started fishing at the tender age of 7 in a creek near his home. His love of fishing continued throughout his entire life. The simplest of pleasures brought great joy to Greg. He loved making Boston butts in his smoker for his friends and working in his garden.

Greg loved his Tennessee Vols. He has always been a fan through the good years and the bad years. He has an extensive collection of UT shirts, hats, jackets and other UT memorabilia. He proudly displayed his support for his Vols by regularly wearing his orange UT shirts

He will leave a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor. He was a genuine person who was kind to everyone, friends and strangers alike. Greg was a wonderful father, a loving husband, son, brother and friend.

Greg was preceded in death by his father Bud and brother Tim. He is survived by his wife Pat, mother Janice, daughter Shelbi Lund, stepdaughters Tina (Mark), Angela Wells (Dusty) and sister Gina Gunter (Mike). He is also survived by his granddaughter Emeri and step-grandchildren Madison Sadler, Zane and Braden Manderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Sunday, December 26th,2021 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held by family and friends on Monday, December 27th at 11:00 AM. A final resting place will be at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
