I talked to Mr. Bill, last month about how we could work together to build his DCA team up through our program here at The First Tee. It so sad to see a parent/coach that was so dedicated to the development of our youth gone so soon. Mr. Bill was a great guy and he will truly be missed.

I am so sad and shocked to hear about Bill . Nancy and Bill my Prayers are with you and all of his Brothers , and his Sister . I knew him as "Little Bill" , and I have memories of him running around and laughing as just a kid . I am so sorry , so very sorry that this little guy I knew grew up , had a family , and now in the blink of an eye he has gone to be with Jesus .

Mr. Bill was such an awesome gentleman. He made my daughter's day by paying her $1 for being so cute. Then asking to borrow $1 everytime he saw her at school. This game lasted for years!! And then Coach Bill introduced my son to golf. Such a joy to see his passion for golf grow in a group of middle school students. He truly was the coach of the year to our family. Bill was loved by all who knew him. We miss you but we know that you are home in heaven.

I am very sorry to hear about Bill passing.  I have never met him personally but have worked with him for several years with appraisals.  Bill was a pleasure to work with.  He will certainly be missed by everyone at Service 1st Valuation and Settlement here in Pittsburgh PA.  My thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family and friends.  God Bless.

I am so sorry for your family's loss.  My son Ethan very much enjoyed being on the golf team last year and getting to know Coach Swain.  Praying for God's peace to surround you all during this difficult time.

I did not know Bill well, but am friends with his mother Nancy. I am so, so saddened by the loss and my prayers are with the entire Swain family. I send a hug and much love to you Nancy!

Our hearts go out to you and your family during this difficult loss.  We only knew Bill for two short years and he made such an impact on our lives.  We always enjoyed talking with him.  He was such an awesome guy in so many ways.  It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that we will all remember and miss.  The laughs, stories and smiles we shared will forever be cherished.  It's going to be difficult to think of this world without him.  We are thankful to have known him and share in the memories which help bring a smile to our faces.

My heart is heavy with sorrow for all of Bill's family, Benny, Brett, Beth and Nancy and Bill Sr....no one should have to suffer the loss of child, and Nancy not twice....I love you Nancy and have no words to help except you now have two guardian angels watching over you.

Our hearts are so heavy with the loss of our great neighbor and friend.  What a blessing Bill was in our lives and the lives of our sons these last four years here in Ridgeview Preserve.  Charlie and Jack love Mr. Bill and will cherish their memories of his yard games, hyper-dash, sledding and fireworks!  He was truly a friend to all, child or adult.
