
Anthony C. Armentano "Tony" of Old Lyme, CT and Stuart, FL passed away on October 24, at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. Tony was born on December 19, 1938 in Hartford, CT to Mary Falice and Anthony Armentano. Tony graduated from Buckley High in 1956 and served in the U.S. Army. Tony worked at the CT Department of Motor Vehicles for 36 years and retired as a Division Chief.
Tony is survived by his wife Deborah, his son Peter and wife Sherry of Vernon, sons Paul and Michael,daughter Lisa Stedman of Maine, step son Ronald Foley, step daughter and son-in-law Erin and Brian Botelho of Cromwell, step-son and daughter-in-law Brian and Erin Pettinato of New Hampshire, and six loving grandchildren Gracelin, Mitchell, Emily, Alexandra, Mason and Ethan, and first cousin and wife Michael and Jan Casparino of Whethersfield.
He and his wife Deborah have enjoyed 10 wonderful years together. Debrorah fondly referred to Tony as her "miracle man" resulting from his multiple recoveries from serious illness. Tony had countless friends from all over Connecticut and Florida. He was loved by all, especially his family, his grandchildren, and his best friend Dick Frascarelli of Rocky Hill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11 AM in Christ the King Church, Old Lyme.
