Dominick Michael Melillo

He was born on July 1, 1935, in Stamford, the son of Francis Melillo and Lucy Andera Melillo.

Dominick was a devoted husband and enjoyed being with his children and family, along with being a friend to many. His diverse interests included the study of the Catholic faith, art & antiques, baseball, the computer and his affinity for information. As a proud “Grandpa” to Brianna, this completed his life. Mr. Melillo was a retired letter carrier for the USPS.

He is survived by his loving wife Carmenza Amarillo Melillo; his daughters Anna Bickford and her husband Daniel of Greenwich; Christine Melillo-Rabasco and her husband Michael of Stamford; Angela Melillo-Obuchowski and her husband Brien of Old Lyme; Frances Kimbell and her husband David of Madison and Patricia Melillo of Pompano Beach, FL; his sister Marylou Ferrante of Wilkes-Barre, PA and his granddaughter Brianna Melillo-Obuchowski of Old Lyme.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 30th at 10am in Christ The King Church, McCurdy Rd., Old Lyme. Burial will be private.
