

Old Saybrook - Frank (Fritz) J. Jasensky, Jr., 81 of Old Saybrook, died Saturday, May 9, 2015. Frank was born on November 17, 1933 in Greenwich, CT. He was the son of Frank Jasensky, Sr. and Caroline A. Sudell Jasensky. He was the oldest brother of John (Jasen) Jasensky, Daniel Jasensky and Susan Jasensky Cassano. Frank married Mary Ann Kinnelly Jasensky, his beloved wife of 55 years, on February 27, 1960. He worked as a carpenter for his family’s company, Greenwich Linoleum, and later for Rosa Carpentry, both in Greenwich, CT.
Frank is survived by his devoted daughters, Patricia Jasensky Mucha and her husband Jerry, Debora Jasensky Wolfe and her husband Charles, Penny Jasensky Skulski and her husband Tom, as well as his daughter-in-law, Josephine (Gigi) Jasensky. He was predeceased by his son James Jasensky. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren who all adored their Pop-Pop: Allison Mucha Habel and her husband Josh, Matthew Wolfe and his wife Kara Riggio, Caroline Wolfe, Jonathan Skulski, Hannah Wolfe, Joseph Skulski, William Jasensky, Jennifer Skulski, Thomas Skulski, Benjamin Wolfe, Olivia Jasensky as well as his great granddaughter, Georgia Ann Riggio Wolfe. He is also survived by a large extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews, who were all very important to him.
Frank was a devout, loyal and good man who put God and family ahead of everything else in life. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his children and grandchildren. Using his carpentry skills to make gifts for his grandchildren brought him great pleasure. He enjoyed bowling, motorcycles, target shooting, computers and the New York Mets.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 15, 1015 at 11:00am in St. John Church, Old Saybrook. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 4:00 until 7:00pm in Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook.
