

Old Lyme- Gail Albino Winter, 70 was born in New London Jan 16, 1945 daughter of Anthony and Angeline (Ronna) Albino. she passed away on Nov. 21, 2015. she was married to Kenneth Dean in 1963 and had two children Laura and Paul. she remarried in 1993 to her current husband Keith Winter. She was survived by her beloved husband Keith, her daughter Laura and her husband Harland and their children Dillon, Cameron and Isabel of Old Lyme , her son Paul and his children Stephanie and Anthony of Old Lyme. Her brother Robert and his wife Jean Albino of Port Charlottte, Fl. Her Aunt Grace Lusa, of Waterford. Gail spent her early childhood days at the New London Waterford Speed Bowl, where her parents were part owners. She spent her summers at the family cottage on Rogers Lake in Old Lyme. She graduated from Waterford High School in 1963. She worked at the front desk and later as a book keeper at The Bee and Thistle Inn in Old Lyme for 14 years. She worked for Beatty and Boucher, CPA and then Michael Boucher, CPA of Old Saybrook for many years. Gail volunteered at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding in Old Lyme, she was a member of the the Eastern Connecticut Draft Horse Association, she enjoyed antiquing, country fairs and traveling the United States. Gail loved to dance, was an avid bear collector, rode horses with her family in her early years and enjoyed her morning walks in all weathers with the family dog. Gail overcame the challenges of life, taking it one day at a time with help of her husband Keith and the support of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 to 5:45 pm with a service following on Saturday Dec 5th 2015 at the Old Lyme Senior Center, 26 Townwoods road, Old Lyme CT. We will then enjoy a celebration of her life with light food and refreshments, All are Welcome.
