Lisa Kennedy Giordano

Lisa was born on Sept. 9, 1953 in Cleveland OH, daughter of the late Walter Kennedy and Joan Bigelow Kennedy. The family moved to Old Lyme, CT, where Lisa grew up and attended school before settling in South Windsor. Lisa was an avid gardener and loved to spend hours outdoors enjoying nature and admiring her work. Her greatest love was for her friends and family.

She leaves behind her children Vince Giordano of Tolland, CT; and her daughter, Joan Elisabeth Giordano of Brighton, MA, and their spouses Kim Giordano and Jon Dusoe; three beloved grandsons, who will greatly miss their "Nana"; her partner for many years Art Kingsbury of South Windsor; her brothers, Nicols Kennedy of Wilton, CT and his family and Forbes Kennedy of Shorter, AL; as well as many dear friends.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Hartford Hospital and the Gray Cancer Center for the wonderful care and support they provided to Lisa over the last 11 months.

Services will be held at Duck River Cemetery in Old Lyme, CT on Saturday, June 9 at 1 p.m. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
