Louise Eleanor Ely

Mrs. Ely was born on July 20, 1928 in New Haven the daughter of Guy and Marion Witherell. She was employed for many years as Telephone Operator for the Phone Company.

She was an avid Quilter and Knitter. she was a member of Old Lyme Grange, Lyme Grange, Old Saybrook Estuary seniors, and a past matron of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Ely is survived by her son Roger Davis And his wife Mary Davis of Old Lyme and granddaughter Kristen Davis, two great grand daughters, Erika and Carly as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Ely, her sister, Ruth Dean and her parents Guy and Marion Witherell.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at 6:00pm in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Ln., Old Lyme, CT 06371. Calling Hour will be held one hour prior to the service at 5:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be at a future date at the convenience of the family.
