He was born on October 18, 1938, in New London, the only child of Stanley John Sankow, Sr., and Caryl Jane Steeves Sankow.
Stanley is survived by his wife Suzanne; children Joseph Sankow of PA, Paul Sankow of Griswold, and Kellei Farnham of Old Lyme; step children Sheila Fowler of Block Island, Sherry Stohler of Park City, UT, Mike McLaughlin of NJ, and Tim McLaughlin of Salem, CT; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren
He was predeceased by his stepson John McLaughlin.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 30th at 11am at Eight Mile River Cemetery, Mt. Archer Rd., Lyme.
