

Born on January 18,1951, in Middletown CT, Denise was known for her warmth, sense of humor, and generous spirit. She was a cherished member of our family and a loyal friend to many. Denise touched countless lives through her kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength.
She was a woman of deep faith, fierce determination, and a loving spirit. A devoted member of St Marks church community, she found great strength and joy in her faith.
Denise had a lifelong love for dogs and was passionately involved in dog championship events. Her dedication, knowledge, and genuine care for animals earned her the respect and friendship of many within that community. She took great pride in her dogs and the accomplishments they achieved together.
For many years, she enjoyed the beach and was always someone you could count on for a listening ear or a word of encouragement.
Even in illness, Denise faced each day with remarkable strength and grace, never losing the warmth and love that defined her life. She taught us the true meaning of strength and resilience. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering commitment to the people and causes she cared about. Her presence brought light and comfort to those who knew her, and her loss left a deep void in the hearts of her family and friends.
Denise is preceded in death by her parents John Pavano and Nellie (Catalano) Pavano. Denise had a wide circle of friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday, June 23 from 8:30am until 10:30am at Swan Funeral Home in Old Saybrook, CT and a mass following calling hours at 11am at St Mark's Church in Westbrook.
