Frank Carlo Stella III

Frank Carlo Stella III, 27 years young of Old Saybrook, bid farewell to this world on January 19, 2011. Frankie was born on March 9, 1983 in Hartford CT. He was the beloved son to his father and step-mother, Frank and Liz Stella Jr., of Old Saybrook and mother and step-father, Jamie and Steve Nowakowski of East Hampton. He leaves behind his fiancé, Tabitha Asby of Westbrook.

Frankie is also survived by his sister Nicole Stella of Old Saybrook, three brothers, Evan and Eric Ogren of West Hartford, Anthony Stella of Old Saybrook, his grandparents Alice Erickson of Ocala FL, and John Horrocks of Wilton ME., many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and by his trusted Rottweiler companion, Debo.

Frankie was a 2001 graduate of Old Saybrook High School. He was an outgoing, kindhearted person with a gentle and caring soul who had a gift for making people smile. He was spontaneous, full of energy, loved music and above all loved his family and friends beyond life itself.

Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd. Old Saybrook Tuesday, January 25, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Essex.
