

Lisa-Jo D’Annolfo, 62, of Old Saybrook, CT passed away peacefully at her home on February 22, 2024 surrounded by her family, after a valiant battle with brain cancer. Throughout her journey, she encouraged us all to always “Choose Joy”.
She was born in Meriden, CT on January 10, 1962, a daughter of the late Connie Bridges and the late Maurice James Lawler and stepfather William Bridges.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steven D’Annolfo, her daughter Abby D’Annolfo (fiancé Christopher Beebe), her son Nicholas D’Annolfo (wife Caroline Woods) as well as her beloved dog Milo J.
She is survived by her sisters Bethany Lawler and Gina DiCostanzo, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her sister Veronica Santor and brothers Mark & Matthew Lawler.
Lisa spent her entire career as a social worker leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and empathy. Outside of her professional career that compassion extended to her love of animals. She dedicated much of her life to rescuing, fostering,and caring for all things living.

Calling hours will be from 10am-12pm on Saturday March 2, 2024 at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, CT, followed by a service at 12 pm.
