Paul Josiah Brock, age 20, was born in Rota, Spain but lived currently in Conneticut. "Josiah" passed away Sunday morning, March 13, in a car accident. He is survived by his father Rodney Brock, Mother Brenda Sanchez, Sister Amanda, Step-mother Sheila Blomquist, Step-brothers Enoch, Elijah and Isaiah and Step-sister Tirzah.
Josiah was a loving, caring, beautiful, free-spirited soul. He loved the beauty of the nature that surrounded him. He was empathetic and accepting of everyone. His impact on the lives of those who knew him will be imprinted on our hearts forever.
We are having a Celebration of Josiah's Life, Wednesday, March 16, at Chatfield Hollow State Park. We will start gathering at around noon, but it will be very informal, so anyone is free to show up at the time that they are able, and then it will be open ended. We will gather at a pavilion and will post signs so that everyone can find it. Everyone should feel free to dress as they wish, as Josiah would want everyone to be themselves. Suit and tie, or jeans and a t-shirt, it doesn’t matter. Everyone is welcome to bring any food or snacks that they wish to share. We ask that his family and friends bring pictures to put on a board to remember him. Family would also like to encourage you to bring instruments and words to share and honor this amazing human being.
In lieu of Flower or Gifts the family is asking for donations to be made to http://www.ctwoodlands.org/giving/make-donation, in Josiah's honor, as he was a lover of the beauty of the nature of Connecticut.
