Born on November 19, 1925 in Portland, CT, she was the daughter of Oscar and Edith Johnson Bengston.
Pauline was a kind and caring person, who loved being surrounded by her family.
Besides her husband Henry of 73 years, she is survived by her three children Bruce Henry Combe of Middletown, Nancy Darrow Croft and her husband Jerry of Old Saybrook and Diane Salvatore and her husband Joey of Westbrook. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
