Robert A Torelli Sr

Robert A Torelli Sr, age 87, of Saint Augustine, Florida, formerly of Westbrook, CT died peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was born June 16,1935 in New Haven, CT to the late Primativa Torelli.

After graduating high school he joined the Army where he spent 4 years in Greenland. He was honorably discharged and made his way back to the United States.

In 1959,he married his beloved wife Virginia in Branford, Ct. In 1961 they moved to Westbrook, Ct where they raised their family and resided for over 60 years. Sadly his wife Virginia predeceased him on July 13,2020.

Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his later years he had a passion for cooking all his wild game and Italian specialties handed down by his mother.

Robert is survived by his children Barbara Turner and husband Gary Davis, Robert Torelli Jr. all of Saint Augustine, FL His grandchildren Amber Turner of Waterford, Ct, Austin Turner, Jamie Turner both of Preston,Ct, Jeffery Davis, of Fort Lauderdale, Fl, Maria Torelli and Robert Torelli , both of Branford, Ct. His great children Lukas Turner, Chloe Turner and Cameron Turner. He is also survied by his brother Leno Torelli and sister Sandra Wynne, both of Branford, Ct. His nieces Lori Larson spouse Rick Larson,of Branford, Ct, Wendy Wynne,of Branford, CT , Sandy Walshaw, spouse Robert Walshaw of Lakewood, Colorado , Stacy Torelli ,of Farmington, New York and Nephew Peter Torelli, of Portland, Oregon . Also great nieces and nephews Olivia Ardizzone , of East Haven, Ct ,Michael Ardizzone, Branford, Ct , Sidney Walshaw, Benton Walshaw, both of Lakewood,Colorado and great-great niece Juniper O'Brien And his Beloved cousin Barbara Clark from Essex, Ct.

A calling hour for Robert will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd, Old Saybrook, Connecticut 06475, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
