Ashley Nicole Knight

OLD TOWN - We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Ashley Nicole Knight, 29, of Old Town, on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013. She was born Feb. 16, 1984, in Bangor, the daughter of Rhonda Smart and Dorian Vinson.She attended Old Town Schools, and received her Associates Degree from Hesser College in New Hampshire. Ashley lived in Boston for 10 years where she made many friends. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.She was predeceased by her grandfather, Sidney Smart; grandmother, Evelyn Vinson; grandfather, Donovan Vinson; and her beloved dog, Ozzy. She is survived by her son, Colton Dorian Knight - the love of her life; her mom, Rhonda (Smart) Winch and husband, Mike; her dad, Dorian Vinson and wife, Kathy; her loving sister, Brittney Vinson; her grandparents, Loretta Cates, Betty Smart, and Mike Cates; stepbrothers, Rogan and Gabe Winch; stepsisters, Jamie Treworgy and Heidi Lucas; her special auntie, Lisa Smart; aunts, Betty Wright and husband, Doc, and Mary Vandi and husband, Dennis; uncle, Donald Vinson and wife, Julie; special cousins, Rachel Smart and her daughter, Kylie; and many more loving cousins.May you rest in peace, dear Ashley, in the arms of our Lord until we meet again. We love you.In lieu of flowers, a trust fund is being set up at Bangor Savings Bank in Old Town to benefit Ashley's two-year son Colton Dorian Knight. Services will be held privately. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
