

She was a graduate of Old Town High Scholl, Class of 1951 and won Ms. Canoe City beauty pageant. She married Wilfred Thibodeau in 1953. Doris was employed at area shoe shops for several years before owning and operating “Sister’s Hair Fashion” with her sister. She will be loving remembered for her great sense of humor, a wonderful cook, a hardworking woman, and a loving and caring person who had unconditional love for her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards and Bingo, and going to the slots.
She is survived by two daughters Janis Thibodeau of Veazie, and Diane Thibodeau of Kenduseag; daughter-in-law Shelia Thibodeau of Old Town; 9 grandchildren Daphne, Kevin, Dawn, Matt, Gary, Missy, Ryan, Casy, and Kylie; 9 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; sister Juanita Fraser of Bradley, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred G. Thibodeau in 1988, son Michael Thibodeau, great grandson Josh, sisters Louise Ness, Linda Miller, and brother Clifford Miller Jr.
A graveside service will be conducted 2PM Sunday at Milford Cemetery. All are invited to the American Legion Hall, Water St, Old Town for a reception following the service at the cemetery.
