Eugene P Hunt

Eugene P Hunt originally from Old Town Maine passed away May 14, 2021, after a short struggle with brain cancer. He was under Hospice care at home in Tolland CT. He was the son of Paul and Elaine Hunt and the life partner of Deborah Lowell. He leaves behind his daughter, Jennifer, her husband Geoff Amick, grandson Drake and granddaughter Devon, and his son Eric, also his extended family, Robert and Patricia Lowell and grandkids Josh, Alyssa and Sam, and Michael and Kerri Lowell and grandkids Alexandra and Dimitri.

Gene graduated in 1959. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy. He worked most of his life for road construction/paving companies, formed his own E.P. Hunt, Inc paving company, and then worked many years for Tilcon. The last couple of decades he and a friend started Nova Tech LLC, selling LED traffic products.

Gene loved the classic car crowd. He attended many cruise nights here in Connecticut or just enjoyed cruising around the country side in his Olds 1965 442 – red, of course. He enjoyed being with family and friends and was always ready with a story. He will be missed by all who knew him.
