Judith May Hesseltine

MILFORD—Judith May Hesseltine, 76, died peacefully at her residence with family by her side January 7, 2021. She was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey a daughter of Lewis and Julia (Costigan) Allen.

Judith was a patient person who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed camping at various places including Deer Lake, Schoodic Lake, and Lamoine, but mostly she enjoyed camping anywhere with her family. She will be remembered as a wonderful cook, feeding her squirrels, scratch tickets, Elvis Presley music and dancing. She retired from LaBree’s Bakery.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Richard “Red” Hesseltine Sr.; five children Richard Hesseltine and his wife Donna, Wendy White and her husband Kenneth, George Hesseltine and his wife Susie, Daniel Hesseltine and his wife Patty, Vicki Blais and her husband Michael; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; brother Dennis Allen and his wife Barbara; two sisters-in-law Marie Allen and Minnie Allen; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by brothers Billy, Artie, Richie, and Harry Allen.
