Milford and Hudson, FL – Linda Louise Dorr, 60, a wife, a mom, a best friend, Linda loved everything about life. She passed away peacefully on September 21, 2011. Being a great listener and a love for laughter were just two more of this lady’s endless qualities.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Richard; daughter, Sara and her spouse Frank of Milford; son, Jason and wife Jackie of Greenbush, as well as 6 grandchildren, Brooklyn-Rose, Oden, Gregory, Jacob, Joey and Alexandrea. Linda is also survived by a brother, Mike Guptil and wife Denise of Clinton Township, MI, as well as many beloved cousins, aunts, in-laws, nieces and nephews. Linda will be sadly missed by most and many, especially her special friends, Nicole Hanson and Roxanne McLaughlin.
Linda loved working with the public and she loved to and was great at cooking. She worked for the Alton Elementary School as a cook and was the Head Cook at Marsh Island Apartments for 14 years. She continued with cooking and assisting residents at Orono Commons where you could find her laughing and swapping stories with the clients.
Linda is predeceased by her father, Roger Mosely; mother, Edna Guptil; step-father, Ralph Guptil and many aunts and uncles.
Family and friends are invited for a memorial visitation from 11am until the time of the memorial service at 1pm on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town with Rev. Darren Farmer officiating. All are invited to a reception at the American Legion in Old Town following the service.
