

INDIAN ISLAND—Natalie C. Sanborn, 91, passed away April 22, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. She was born October 6, 1928 in Old Town a daughter of James H. and Barbara (Thomas) Sanborn.
Natalie finished school in Brownville and later obtained her CRMA in nursing and worked in nursing homes in the Scarborough area and retired from medical records at the Penobscot Indian Health Center. Natalie enjoyed volunteering for hospice and delivering senior meals. Her many hobbies included hiking, gardening, reading and needle work.
She is survived by sons Robert Chase, Timothy Nicola, Richard Burns, Thomas Burns, Peter Burns, daughters Deborah Curtis and Claudia Noyes; nineteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Sadly, due to the current pandemic, there will be no public services. Natalie will be laid to rest with her brother Alan at a later date.
