Barbara Hillhouse Harrison

Olive Branch - Barbara Hillhouse Harrison, 77, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away October 4, 2013. She was a retired organist with First Baptist Church in Olive Branch and Oakhaven Baptist Church in Memphis and she also retired from the Memphis Defense Depot. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she had been a sunday school teacher, a member of the choir and leader of the children's choir as well as a leader in Community Bible Study. She was a member of the Olive Branch Arts Council and the Olive Branch T.W.I.G.S. and a graduate of Southside High School in Memphis. Mrs. Harrison is survived by her daughters, Sharon Harris (George) of Senatobia, Debbiejo Barnett (Keith) of Olive Branch and Cindy Nichols (Mike) of Olive Branch and six grandchildren, George Harris, Jr., Wilson Harris, Michael Wyatt Nichols, Tyler Kothe, Jessica Kothe and Kempseyann Barnett. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, at First Baptist Church in Olive Branch with visitation beginning at 9:30. Burial will be in Blocker Cemetery.
