

BETTY LOU COCKRUM, 79, of Olive Branch, MS and formerly Memphis, TN passed away October 15, 2011. She was born in Pittsburgh, TX to Willie and Beatrice Green (deceased) and was the beloved wife of Jimie D. Cockrum and happy homemaker for 64 years. She was also the owner of two craft stores, Plano Arts and Crafts, Plano, TX and The Crafty Fox, Memphis,TN. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. Betty was a loving mother to four children: Cindi Davis, Jimie Ray Cockrum (deceased), Sandra Mancini (Mickey) and Kyle Cockrum (Edie). A grandmother to four grandchildren: Darisa Davis, Betsey Davis, Mickey Mancini, Jr. (Bevin) and April Penny (Phillip); five great grandchildren: Cameron Coletta, Luna Davis, Weston Coletta, Judge Manuel and Presley Penny whom all called her "Honey". She is survived by her brother Billy Green of Texas and many beloved family members. Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch, MS has charge of all services. Visitation willbe held for friends and family Tuesday, Oct. 18, 5pm to 7pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 2pm followed by burial at Memphis Memory Gardens, Memphis, TN.
