She was born August 16, 1925 to the late Claxton and Nettie Ray.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Croft, daughter Brenda Croft brothers Charles and Oliver Ray and her sister Grace Dunn.
She is survived by her daughters Cherri Lightsey and Amy Loftin, grandchildren; Rachael Burnett, Steven Loftin and Caroline Loftin. She also leaves behind one great-granddaughter, Piper Burnett.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Brantley Funeral Home with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.
