Billy Gene Stevens

Billy Gene Stevens, 89, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the State Veteran’s Home in Oxford, MS. Born to the late Edgar and Ida Stevens, Billy was an Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Hall, and two nieces, Kim Fesmire and Pam Burgess. He leaves behind his sister, Ann Barkley, two nieces, Marilyn Long (Jeff), Angie Hall, and six nephews, Clay Barkley (Stacy), Gary Hall (Nancy), David Hall (Carol), Mike Hall, Danny Hall, and Greg Hall (Paige); two nephew in laws, Dwayne Fesmire and Hugh Burgess. Billy also leaves behind a host of family, friends, and great nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Tiplersville Cemetery in Tiplersville, MS.
