Independence – Carl Elton Harris, 80, retired truck shop supervisor, born and raised in Olive Branch, MS, died December 11, 2012. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 14; and service will be 12 noon, Saturday, December 15, both at Brantley Funeral Home. He leaves his wife, Becky Harris; four daughters, Shiela Smith (Greg), Teresa Dragon (Chad), Carla Edler (Ron), and Debbie Bedenbaugh (Tom); one son, Michael Harris; three sisters, Merle Hughey, Gladys Baker and Evelyn Stone; three granddaughters, ten grandsons, four great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons.
