Carolyn M. Cooke

Carolyn M. Cooke, 63, of Independence, MS, passed away Friday February 24, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Cooke was presently employed at the Pink Coconut Boutique in Olive Branch and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Marie Manus. Mrs. Cooke is survived by her husband, Landon "Cookie" Cooke, her children, Angela Wilkes (Brian), Colin Cooke (Amy), Natalie Wroten (Randy), and Stephanie Cochran (Craig) and her brother, Charles Manus (Connie). She also leaves behind her grandchildren who she loved dearly, Ashley Cochran, Alison Cochran, Haley Wroten, Dylan Gatlin, Matthew Cochran, Jordan Gatlin, Rees Cooke, Abby Wilkes, Hank Cooke, and Rhett Cooke. The family will receive friends Monday February 27, 2016 from 5-8pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at 10am at Autumn Woods Cemetery with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Mrs. Cooke's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lebonheur Children's Hospital.
