David Scott Connelly, 52, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 16, 2021. David was preceded in death by his father, Bennett Connelly. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Stacy Gurley Connelly; children: Christina Connelly, Christopher Connelly, Bennett Connelly, Zachary Connelly, and Jonah Connelly; mother, Kathy Connelly; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Morgan(Angie). David was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member at Great Commission Church where he and his family serve the Lord. He loved music and used his musical gift at church where he played bass in the praise band. He was a kind and loving man who quickly became a friend to anyone he met. He adored all children and had a special place in his heart for special needs children. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service and reception will be held at Great Commission Church on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Great Commission Church Missions Fund in his honor.
