David Lowery Leppert, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at his residence. He was born on July 15, 1954, to Don and Charlotte Leppert in Birmingham, Alabama. David was a loyal and hardworking man who spent many years working at his family’s bakery. He loved camping and being outdoors, but most of all, he loved his family. David was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Charlotte Leppert; two brothers, Donn Leppert, Jr., Tommy Leppert and a son-in-law, Billy Hopper. He leaves behind his wife, Angie Leppert; two children, Jacob Leppert, Dawn Hopper; three siblings, Amy Leppert Taylor (Brian), Mark Leppert (Lori), Paul Leppert; and his brother-in-law, Chris Sterling. David also leaves behind his grandson, Nathan Hopper, and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests prayers for the repose of the soul of Mr. David Leppert.
