Deborah Elaine Garrison

Deborah Elaine “Debbie” Garrison, 73, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, TN. She was born May 11, 1952, to Charles and Rebecca Garrison in Batesville, Arkansas. Debbie had a real love for the old ways of life. She lived in a 150-year-old home and took pride in filling it with antiques she found while out shopping. She was always ready to lend a hand, helping with Meals on Wheels and volunteering for different charities around town. She dearly loved her dogs, especially her Dobermans. Every now and then, you’d find her sitting down with a good book. Debbie worked as a manager at T & A Travel Center for 20 years, and she was proud of the hard work she put in there. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rebecca Garrison, and her two siblings, Butch Garrison and Donna Webster. Debbie is survived by her sister, Denice Cook; six nephews and nieces: Brad, Tracy, Tina, Michael, Lana, Cheryl, and eight great nephews and nieces: Jonathan, Taylor, Amber, Shelby, Joshua, Elizabeth, Grace, and Charles. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Tunica Humane Society, P.O. Box 236 Tunica, MS 38676.
