The Tunica Humane Society would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Ed's family.  I had the honor of talking with Ed several times over the last few weeks of his life.  He was very excited about his new dog, Max, that was adopted from our shelter.  He talked very fondly of Max and I think he was in Ed's life for a reason there toward the end.  I think Max brought Ed much comfort and joy.  They had quickly become close buddies.  I want to thank the family for contacting us when Ed passed away because we know that Max will miss his buddy.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may God comfort you in the coming days.  Ed was a very kind and good man and we are honored to have known him even just for a brief moment in time.
