Frank Jackson Ward

Frank Jackson Ward, 89, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 in Senatobia, MS. Frank was born on July 5, 1936, in Ingram Mills, Mississippi, to Lawrence and Zeddie Ward. He was a simple man who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the birds, as well as hunting and fishing. He also adored his wife, Faye, and she brought him the most joy. Frank also took pride in being a Mason, a commitment that meant a great deal to him. He worked faithfully for 28 years at Baptist Memorial Hospital on Union before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Zeddie Ward; three children, Richard Jackson Ward, Nita Jane Gates (Howard), William Ray Ward; son-in-law, Marty Lentz and three siblings, Lawrence Ward, Cecil Ward, and Ida Frances Herron. Frank leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Callie Faye Ward; his daughter, Brenda Lentz; a daughter-in-law, Johannah Ward; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Busby and Horace Busby; eight grandchildren: Dexter (Julie), Lee (Dorothy), Randal (Danielle), Felicia, Braxton, Josh, Sabrina, Maria (Gene), and a host of great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Coldwater, MS.
