

Harold Benton Coleman, 90, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Mr. Coleman was born on November 26, 1935, to the late Jesse Benton Coleman and Nancy Carlene Coleman. He is a 1954 Graduate of Olive Branch High School when they were the “Eagles”. He worked as a truck driver for over 35 years until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and anything working with his hands. He was known to be a perfectionist and gave his all with everything he did. He was also known for math skills. Mr. Coleman was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and faithfully read his Bible and Guide Post devotional every day. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Ann Coleman; sister, Lena Judith Coleman Lavarius; and brother, Denver Ped “Jack” Coleman. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Loyce Ann Simmons Coleman; son, Richard Coleman (Sletta) of Sardis, MS; daughter, Belinda Coleman Carnes (David) of Bono, AR; son, Jesse Coleman (Rachell) of Denmark, MS; sister-in-law, Ludy Faye Melton of Drummonds, TN; grandchildren: Josh Coleman, Brandy Jacobs, Haley Carnes, Kelsey Carnes, Cody Blair, Autumn Coleman, Bubba Fortner, TL Bratton, and Becca Bratton; and 21 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Autumn Woods Memorial Park.
