Henry “’Buck” Busby, 85, of Olive Branch, MS passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021. Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bessie Busby; three sisters: Sylvia Golden, Betty Riley, and Shelby Downer; and one brother, Charles Busby. Mr. Busby is survived by his brother, Billy Busby; brother, Sonny Busby(Sue); sister, Kay Brawley; sister, Sletta Coleman(Richard); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Buck loved the Olive Branch community, especially Conquistador football. He and his family have done the chains for the football games for many years and they were given the name “The Busby Chain Gang”. He also loved Ole Miss Rebels football. He was a God fearing man. Buck did not have any children of his own, but he helped raise many. He also loved old country music. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery.
