Henry Elliott Thompson III, 71, of Rossville, TN, passed away January 5, 2015 after a courageous 9 year battle with cancer. He served his country during the Vietnam conflict in the United States Navy
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra G. Thompson; his children Henry E. Thompson IV, Heather (Jeff) Johnstone and Denise (Clarence) Taylor; two grandsons Aaron Taylor and Seth Taylor and brother Howard L. Thompson.
A Military service will be held at 1100 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Henry’s name to Memphis Union Missions or the Salvation Army.
