

On Thursday August 19, 2021, Herman Lee Myers, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 62 after a courageous long battle with cancer. Herman was born on November 7, 1958 in Brinkley, AR. Herman was the twelfth of thirteen children born to Alfonza and Leora Valentine Myers. Herman enjoyed family, fishing, hunting, racing and keeping his yard pristine. His smile lit up a room and he always said a funny at the right time. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Adolph Myers of Chicago, IL, Willie Myers of Detroit, MI and John Earl Myers of Brinkley, AR, and one sister Thelma Myers Harshaw of St. Louis, MO. He is survived by his loving wife Lori of 33 years, one son Herman Jr. Myers (Jenna) of Orlando, FL, three grandchildren and one on the way (baby Liv), Nadia Myers of Zion, IL, Elijah Myers and Logan Myers of Orlando, FL, five sisters Geraldine Nunn of Cordova, TN, Sheraldine Gates of Waukegan, IL, Mae Myers of St. Louis, MO, Shirley Palmer of Racine, WI, and Alice Carter of Little Rock, AR, three brothers Alfonza Myers of Cordova, TN, Monte (Linda) Myers of Lonoke, AR, Jimmy (Linda) Myers of Round Lake Beach, IL and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life will be commenced on a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Vanderbilt – Ingram Cancer Center, Nashville, TN or West Cancer Center and Research Institute of Germantown, TN
