Jeff David Dupuis, age 72, passed away September 2, 2021. He was born in Arnaudville, LA to Euphemond and Wilda Dupuis on August 31, 1949. A graduate of Whitehaven High School in 1968, Jeff went on to join the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Memphis and later became a Master Electrician and owned a successful business, Cajun Electrical Service, until his retirement in 2007. Jeff was an avid fisherman and loved listening to Blues and Soul music.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Brenda Dupuis; daughter Aimee Craig; son Jeff Dupuis Jr; daughter Jennifer Barnwell; sister Jane Zerbe; sister Agnes Blanchard; and 12 grandchildren: Cody Jones, Parker Craig, Paige Craig, Cade Barnwell, Peyton Craig, Caleb Barnwell, Micah ElNaggar, Ezra ElNaggar, Corbin Barnwell, Evelyn ElNaggar, Caraline Barnwell, and Abel Dupuis. He is preceded in death by both parents and his sister, Grace Hunt.
A visitation will be held Friday, September 10th at 9:00-10:00, with a service immediately following at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS, 38654. A brief graveside gathering at Memorial Park Southwoods, 5485 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, TN 38125.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Dupuis Jr, Scott Craig, Mike Barnwell, Parker Craig, Mike Pourciaux, and Cade Barnwell. Honorary pallbearers are Peyton Craig and Caleb Barnwell.
