Olive Branch - Jonathan Taylor Kelly, 16, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 13, 2013, from complications following heart surgery at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. Jonathan was born in Springfield, Virginia with a condition known as Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome and experienced multiple reconstructive, open-heart surgeries during infancy, overcoming each against the odds he might not make it. Jonathan is survived by his father, Ronald Kelly and mother, Marcail Kelly of Olive Branch, MS, as well as his grandparents, David and Peggy Henderson of Olive Branch, MS, who all came together 16 years ago to provide an environment of love and support. Jonathan leaves behind not only a large number of close friends who were touched by his positive spirit, but even more he never met who have, or will benefit from the medical research created about him. Visitation for Jonathan will be Friday, June 21 from 5-8 p.m. at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS, with services at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 22, held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Olive Branch, MS.
