Larry Dwight Long

Larry Dwight Long, 72, of Olive Branch, passed away Wednesday February 6, 2019. Mr. Long was a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He enjoyed woodworking and coaching soccer and was passionate about missions work. Mr. Long was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Donie Long, one sister, Ruth Anna Long, and a brother, Fred Wayne Long. He is survived by his wife, Dian Brand Long, three children, Christopher D. Long, Kelley M. Dunn (Jeffrey), and Holly L. Long, five siblings, Harold Long (Billie Sue), Charles Long (Patricia), Bobby Long (Carolyn), Carolyn Kimbrell, and Virginia Mitchell (Ralph), one grandson, Jonathan Greyson Long, and a host of extended family. The family will receive friends Saturday February 9, 2019 from 11am until the funeral service begins at 1pm at Longview Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett, TN.
