Lois Jean Hughey, 91, of Nesbit, MS passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. Mrs. Hughey was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Hughey; parents, Cleveland and Laverne Sanderson; and brother, Jimmy Sanderson. She is survived by her son, Lee Hughey(Donna); grandchildren, Brandon Hughey(Allison) and Tori Hughey; brother, Jerry Sanderson; and sisters, Elsie Sanderson and Glenda Daughety. Mrs. Hughey was born and raised in Amory, MS and moved to Memphis after graduating high school. She retired from Roadway Express as a billing clerk and was a proud member of Teamster Local 667. In her free time she enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family. A memorial service will be held at Brantley Funeral Home on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
