Lola Ramsey Alexander

Lola Ramsey Alexander went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her home in Millington, TN. She was born to the late William and Mae Ramsey on February 4,1934 in Hilham,TN. She was a member of Barton First Baptist Church in Byhalia, MS. Lola retired from Cleo Wrap in Memphis, TN in 2004. She loved her family and friends and will be missed by many. Lola was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, her husband Sturlon Alexander, son Frankie Alexander and grandson, Russell Alexander. Survivors include her long time companion and friend, Ted Cole, a daughter, Sandra Tankersley, a daughter-in-law, Shelly Alexander and 4 grandchildren, Michelle Rayborn, Nicholas Alexander, Alexandra Tankersley and Anna Tankersley. She also leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2:00pm with visitation beginning at 1:00pm at Barton First Baptist Church, 297 Quinn Rd, Byhalia, MS 38611. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
