

Maxine was born on March 12, 1957, to the late Eugene and Annie Ether Walker. Maxine dedicated 28 years of honorable service to the United States Army, a testament to her strength, discipline, and unwavering commitment.
Maxine was a remarkable woman—loving, kind, and full of life. She had a heart that made people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. She found joy in spending time with family, shopping, traveling, and sharing laughter with those she loved. Her presence brought warmth into every room she entered. More than anything, Maxine was a fighter. She faced life’s challenges with courage, resilience, and determination, never backing down and always pushing forward with strength and grace.
Maxine entered into her everlasting life on March 26, 2026. Proceeding her in death, father: Eugene Walker; mother: Annie Ether Walker: 4 brothers: Willie Jean, Robert, James and Tommy Seal Walker and 1 sister Regina Walker-Waller.
She is survived by two sons, Lamar Jiles and Marcus Weathers both of Arizona; her three grandchildren, Angel, Anthony, and Azha; her two brothers, Johnny Walker of Holly Springs MS and Ira Walker (Linda Walker) of Byhalia MS. Six sisters, Elnora Smith, Ether Collins, Willie Mae Peel (Thomas Peel), Mary Hollowell, Ruthie Sanderson-Johnson and Felicia Walker of Holly Springs, Mississippi, one honorary sister of whom she has known for 30 plus years, Rosie Russell of Victorville CA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will continue to carry her memory forward.
Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the family she loved so deeply.
