Maxine F. Patrick

Byhalia - Maxine F. Patrick, age 91, passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on Monday, June 30, 2014. The daughter of William Arthur and Julia Allen Flinn, Maxine was born and raised in Byhalia, Mississippi. Following her marriage and starting her own family, she moved to Georgia and spent the majority of her life in Atlanta. She was a member of Druid Hills Baptist Church and a retiree of the Veteran’s Administration. Throughout her life, she demonstrated the love of Christ through her loving care and thoughtfulness for others, regardless of her own circumstances, and will be always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Allen and Kenneth, and her husband, retired USMC S/SGT Charles Howard Patrick. She is survived by her son and caregiver, Howard A. Patrick of Atlanta and daughter, Patricia Ann Williams of Fayetteville, GA. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
