Melissa Dawn Russell, 44, of Coldwater, MS passed away on April 21, 2022. Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her grandmother, Norma Goudy; father, Michael Goudy; and mother, Cheryl Brownlee. She is survived by her husband, Roy Russell; children: Joshua Russell, Julie Moore, Dani Moore, Katie Aures(Chad), Bridget Miskelly(Bradley), Trae Russell(Kaitlyn), and Dakota Russell; 11 grandchildren; brothers: Tim Goudy, Matt Goudy, Michael Goudy, Jason Bradley; and two sisters, Machelle Peters and Crystal Gross. Mrs. Russell was a loving and nurturing mother and had the heart of a true homemaker. She was passionate about making their house a home and ensuring that her family was always taken care of. In her free time she enjoyed playing pool, reading, and doing arts and crafts. She had incredible artistic abilities and she loved to use them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 5-7 pm with a time to share memories from 6:30-7.
