Milton "Stumpy" Robertson

Milton “Stumpy” Robertson, 48, of Olive Branch, was killed in a trucking accident on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, October 9, and funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 10, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery. Milton was a graduate of Overton High School in Memphis where he played football, and he was a longtime member of Cherokee Baptist Church. Mr. Robertson was employed by Conway Truck Lines. He was an avid cook, especially grilling and barbeque, and he enjoyed working with his brother at several different triathlon events. Milton is survived by his wife of 20 years, Penny Robertson; his son, Austin Robertson; his daughter, Shelby Robertson; his sister, Annaree Carter (Scott); his brother, Wyndell Robertson (Pam); and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, D.W. and Delorise Robertson; and his sister, Renee Clark.
