

Pamela ANGLIN King, 63, of Cordova, passed away July 21, 2011 at her home. She retired after many years as bartender at the Peabody Hotel. Pamela is survived by four daughters, Jackie Pierce (Larry) of Cordova, Ramey Cryer (Johnny) of Cordova, Heather Besser (Sandy) of Manhattan, KS, and Holly Miller of San Jose, CA; her mother, Ruby Anglin of Hernando, MS, sister, Judy Fisher of Dallas, TX; brothers, Harley Anglin of Olive Branch, Ronnie Anglin of Pickwick, TN, and Mark Anglin of Nashville, TN and grandchildren, Zachary, Benjamin, Colter, Thad , Ethan, Spencer, Lola and Luke. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dominique Miller, her father, Joseph Anglin and sisters, Cindy Gourley and Rowena O'Guinn. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Brantley Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American
Pamela Anglin King, 63, passed away on July 21, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. A native of Olive Branch, MS, she was one of 7 siblings born to Ruby and Daddy Jo Anglin. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Dominique, who passed away at the tender age of 14; sisters, Cindy and Rowena. She is survived by her mother, Ruby; her siblings, Harley, Judy, Ronnie and Mark; daughters, Jackie, Ramey, Heather and Holly; and her grandchildren Zachary, Colter, Thad, Ethan, Spencer, Lola and Luke. Pam was an amazing woman. She was incredibly intelligent, witty, generous, loving, fun, thoughtful; a great writer and lover of music and people. She spent many years as a bartender at the Peabody Hotel Lobby Bar and could light up a room and lift the spirit and put a smile on anyone's face with her genuine love, care, joy, and empathy for others. She had amazing energy and creativity and loved to entertain and care for people. She was a woman of many talents, extremely well read and had a deep love of nature and beauty. Pam will be extremely missed and always loved and cherished. A Memorial Service will be held at the Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26.
