Patsy Martin Mills, 85 of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Friday February 25, 2022. She was born in Savannah, TN on June 7, 1936 to Richard and Flonnie Martin. After graduating from high school, she moved to Memphis where she later married James E. Mills. Her husband preceded her in death after 55 years of marriage. They had their own company, for many years, where they manufactured furniture for the hospitality industry.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Mills had one brother, LG Martin, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son James Richard Mills (Kathy) and devoted son Steve Mills, who along with her best friend Shirley Coleman, cared tirelessly for her when her health began to decline. Miss Pat, as she was called, leaves grandchildren Richie Mills and Megan McCaskill (Brad) along with five great-grandchildren.
Miss Pat also leaves many kind friends who checked on her and did work for her, as she lived independently for twelve years. Some were even lucky enough to get one of her homemade coconut cakes.
The family will hold a private graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis at 2:30 on Friday. The arrangements are in care of Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS.
